New starter sets from Tenth Legion
Many thanks to all of you who dropped by for a chat at a very busy Partizan wargames show. It’s always a pleasure to chat with wargamers and I got some very positive feedback which seemed to boil down to the following:
- ‘So THAT’s what happened to the Magister Militum ranges!’
- ‘These are actually really nice figures!’ (Said with an air of surprise.)
- ‘They look much nicer than the photos.’
- ‘Are these compatible with Pendraken?’ (The inevitable question.)
- Will you be doing army packs?
All in all, an interesting bunch of comments, to which the answers are;
- So much for my mighty wargaming public awareness programme!
- That’s because they ARE really nice figures, you just never looked at them before.
- Hey, even I look better in real life than my photo.
- That all depends on how you, personally, define ‘compatible.

The eventual aim is to feature army or starter packs for most nations across all periods. To mark the completion of the first group of refurbished codes on the Tenth Legion Napoleonic ranges, we’ve released three starter armies for the Austrian, British and French.
These packs normally sell for £59 (£49.17 for buyers outside the UK), which is a discounted price vis a vis buying all the constituent parts at full price. However, to mark this first group of releases we are offering them for just £55.00 (45.83 outside the UK). On top of that we will also be throwing in an appropriate flag sheet worth £2.35 for free!
