WELCOME TO THE TENTH LEGION
Welcome to the Tenth Legion website, the new home of the Magister Militum range of 10mm historical figures. Our aim is to continue to offer this outstanding range of miniatures to wargamers and collectors worldwide and building upon this to expand and develop what is available.
Tenth Legion is run by the team behind the Baccus range of 6mm figures and products and we will be bringing the same high standards of quality and customer service to the 10mm ranges.
Please note that there are currently two catalogues running side by side. We are steadily processing the Magister moulds and adding ranges to the Tenth Legion catalogue, offering very clear and easy site navigation and photographs of all stock items. This is not a quick process however, and to ensure that the rest of the range remains available we are operating a ‘Legacy’ section which allows you to access the full MM collection, although the ordering process is a little more cumbersome.
25th May 2025 :: Macedonians added and collection at shows

One major difference to the figures is that you will see that the phalangites are now based on strips. I know that it’s not a concept that everyone is happy with, but for formed troops in dense formations it makes life a lot easier when it comes to both painting and especially basing the finished units.

I’ve always thought that this is a much maligned army by wargamers. Yes, they were the perennial losers to the French on multiple occasions, but they were Napoleon’s most persistent foes, always bouncing back from defeat and eventually coming out as victors with their coalition partners. On top of that, I’ve always considered them to have the nicest uniforms – who can resist an army that has ‘parrot green’ as part of their uniform options?
